Avaline Assessment and Qualifications (AAQ), established in 2020, was created in response to the challenges faced by many Chinese students pursuing international education. Today, AAQ stands as a key pillar of support, operating across the UK and mainland China to guide students towards successful admission to universities in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Asia, and China.

AAQ delivers a range of programmes, including Level 3 Diploma (pre-university), Pre-Master, Vocational, and Pre-sessional English courses.

The AAQ Level 3 Diploma is delivered through Avaline School learning centres across China, with some programmes embedded within local schools alongside their international departments. The bespoke curriculum integrates the A-Level framework with essential skills training, ensuring a smooth transition and strong foundation for university success. In addition to A-Level subjects, students also gain valuable skills and competencies in subjects such as Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, and Business, alongside academic research and subject-related English.

At the end of the programme, students sit the Diploma Level 3 examinations in three core subjects. They may also complete part of their studies at our UK centres or affiliated colleges. The carefully designed and rigorously assessed AAQ Level 3 Diploma extends slightly beyond the traditional academic limits of A Level study, preparing students for the intellectual demands of university life.

Our Pre-Master programmes offer two specialised pathways: Business and IT/Computing. These are designed to meet the needs of students seeking progression within the same discipline or transitioning into a new area of study. The Business pathway supports progression to postgraduate programmes in management, administration, finance, marketing, and economics. These courses are delivered through our network of study centres or embedded within international colleges and universities across China. Each curriculum is carefully tailored to ensure a seamless transition to postgraduate study, developed in consultation with our university partners to maximise student success.

AAQ also delivers a suite of Vocational programmes that support Chinese vocational schools and colleges in developing internationalised curricula. These programmes include bespoke course design, teaching materials, and train-the-trainer sessions. Endorsed by provincial governments, they contribute to the ongoing reform and modernisation of vocational education across China. Partnering with AAQ allows institutions to be part of this important national initiative and play a meaningful role in advancing vocational education.
